Site Maintenance & Facilities Volunteers
Help us take care of the oldest home in St. Catharines!
The Brown Homestead is responsible for the ongoing maintenance and stewardship of several historic structures, including the John Brown House, The Norton Cabin, and two 1850 outbuildings: the Dairy and a Smokehouse. The Brown Homestead team often requires assistance with maintenance projects to ensure the site remains safe and welcoming for our community.
Site Maintenance & Facilities Volunteers will assist with the general upkeep and care of The Brown Homestead property, including small improvement and repair projects, outdoor yard maintenance, and organizing and inventorying materials. Volunteers may also help with setting up for venue rentals.
What to Expect
Site Maintenance & Facilities Volunteers can can volunteer weekly on a set day, or sign-up for projects as opportunities arise.
