Public Tour & Education Volunteers
Help us share the storied history of The Brown Homestead with our visitors!
Public Tour & Education Volunteer help us share the stories of The Brown Homestead and rural Niagara with the public. Volunteers greet visitors and lead guided interpretive tours of The Brown Homestead property. Volunteers are trained in using engaging, interactive interpretive techniques and are provided with a tour guidebook including the history and stories to reference, as well as ongoing training opportunities and resource materials.
Public Tour and Education Volunteers also assist us with the delivery of school programs for children.
What to Expect
This role occurs on an ongoing, regular basis. Public Tour & Education Volunteers can expect to volunteer a few hours a week between May and October, as well as special events and booked tours throughout the year.
