Public Tour Volunteers
Help us share the exciting history of The Brown Homestead with our visitors!
Starting in Summer 2024, we plan to launch public tour offerings where the community can drop in, explore the property, and learn more about our history and our work.
We are looking for enthusiastic, personable volunteers to help us guide visitors through The Brown Homestead, share stories about the families who lived here, explain our ongoing adaptive restoration work, and answer questions. Of course, we’ll provide volunteers with the training and resources to offer these tours with confidence.
What to Expect
This role occurs on an ongoing, regular basis. Public Tour Volunteers can expect to volunteer a few hours a week between May and October.
