Here is what you should expect for the night:

6:00 PM - 7:00 PM - DOORS OPEN

Explore the halls of Rodman Hall and experience its magnificence. Check-in at Registration and get to know The Brown Homestead staff and volunteers. Live music performance by pianist, Kai Oszlai.

7:00 PM - 8:15 PM - TRIVIA - PART 1

Trivia promptly starts at 7:00 pm. Welcome remarks from The Brown Homestead’s Director of Programming, Theresa Felicetti, and Director of Community Engagement, Jessica Linzel. Enjoy Rounds 1 to 4 of trivia with host, Mike Balsom.

8:15 PM - 8:45 PM - INTERMISSION

8:45 PM - 9:30 PM - TRIVIA - PART 2

Return for Round 5 to 7 of trivia with host, Mike Balsom. Celebrate our raffle prize, 50/50 draw, and trivia winners! Closing and thank you remarks from Community Engagement Manager, Sara Nixon.

Gather your teammates and show off your knowledge across a variety of fun trivia topics while supporting our ongoing adaptive restoration of The Brown Homestead!

Trivia: Teams will be challenged to 7 rounds of general trivia knowledge for a 100 points!

Each team can purchase a set of five (5) GIMME stickers and/or one (1) DOUBLE DOWN sticker for $10 each to help you gain additional points throughout the game.

Prizes & Ticket Sales: Raffle prizes and 50/50 tickets will be available for sale during the event!

Individual raffle tickets sheets ($20 for 25 tickets) and 50/50 draw tickets ($10 for 5 tickets) are available to purchase at the Registration Table.

You can also purchase a Trivia Fun Pack ($60), which includes 2 raffle ticket sheets, 2 sets of 50/50 tickets and 2 snack vouchers for concession. You save $10!

Chips, chocolate bars, and candy are available for purchase at the Concession Table.

Parking: Parking is available on-site at Rodman Hall. Overflow parking is available on nearby streets, if needed. We encourage carpooling with your team!

Trivia Night is mainly a cash event, debit/credit card can be used at the bar and for purchase of additional appetizer platters.

Outside food is not permitted.

This event is in support of The Brown Homestead, a registered charitable organization founded in 2015, that has been adaptively restoring the site as a community gathering space offering workshops, events, and tours.

This exciting trivia event takes place in the ballroom of the historic Rodman Hall, built in 1863 for St. Catharines mogul Thomas Rodman Merritt and recently restored to its original majesty as a boutique hotel. Marvel in the architecture and decor of one of Niagara’s most exquisite heritage buildings while aiding The Brown Homestead to reimagine our historic site as an active learning and community gathering space.
