Join Sara Nixon (Director of Community Engagement) to learn about Power Glen’s history and how the water power at Decew Falls was first harnessed to build Canada’s cradle of hydroelectricity. Explore how the power generating station, first built in 1898, transformed the landscape, fostering the growth of Power Glen, and signaled the technological advances of the twentieth century.
