We’re officially open for the 2026 season starting Thursday, May 21!
Open Thursdays & Fridays, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Explore the 220+ year-old buildings on our site, learn about heritage conservation practices and see projects in progress, discover stories of rural farming families, and connect with Niagara's rich history.
Visitors are welcome to drop-in and spend time on our property. Bring a meal to share on our picnic tables, pick-up a children’s activity, or take a digital walking tour of our site using GuideTags.

Guided tours begin on the hour at the front of the John Brown House. Tours are approximately 60 minutes. We recommend booking your tour in advance of your visit to save your spot, as tour space is limited.

Admission by Donation
The Brown Homestead is a registered charity, and your donations support our programming and ongoing adaptive reuse of the site. We recommend $5 per person to visit our historic site.
We have a cash donation box and can accept donations online.
